A spokesperson for Tindall, 39, said Lucas Philip Tindall was born Sunday evening and weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces. He is the third child of Tindall and her husband, Mike Tindall, and the Queen’s 10th great-grandchild. The baby’s middle name honors Prince Philip and Mike Tindall’s father, the BBC reported.

“Sunday got even better because a little baby boy arrived at my house,” Mike Tindall said on Tuesday’s episode of his podcast “The Good, The Bad and The Rugby,” recapping his weekend.

The newest addition to the royal family is named Lucas Philip Tindall, British news outlets report; his middle name presumably a nod to his great-grandfather, 99-year-old Prince Philip, who recently spent a month hospitalized for an infection treatment and a heart procedure.

The infant was born on the bathroom floor of the couple’s home in Gloucestershire, since the couple was unable to get to a hospital in time, CNN reported.

The birth was announced by Mike Tindall on Wednesday during an episode of his podcast, “The Good, The Bad and The Rugby.”

Mike Tindall is a former captain of the English rugby team.

“It was run into the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, get a mat on the floor, towels down, ‘brace-brace-brace,’” Mike Tindall said during the podcast.

Zara Tindall is the daughter of Princess Anne, the Queen’s second child. She is a first cousin to Prince William and Prince Harry.

Zara Tindall, the daughter of Princess Anne, gave birth to her third child with husband Mike Tindall on Sunday.

The birth of the Tindalls’ child follows those of Princess Eugenie’s firstborn son and Pippa Middleton’s baby girl, People reported.

According to a Buckingham Palace spokesperson, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are “delighted” at the news, the BBC reported.

They “look forward to meeting their 10th great-grandchild when circumstances allow,” the spokesperson said.

The child is 22nd in line to the throne.

The baby arrived “very quickly,” Mike Tindall, 42, noted – Zara Tindall “didn’t make it to the hospital” and delivered him “on the bathroom floor.”

“She was a warrior, as always,” he said of his wife, 39.

“It was running to the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, get the mat on the floor, towels down, brace, brace, brace,” he recalled. “Fortunately the midwife who was going to meet us at the hospital wasn’t that far away, so she drove up, got there just as we had assumed the (position), and the second midwife arrived just after the head had arrived.”

“The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news and look forward to meeting their 10th Great Grandchild when circumstances allow,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement to USA TODAY.

Tindall, the only daughter to Princess Anne and 19th in line to the British throne, has two daughters with her husband, a former English rugby player: 7-year-old Mia Grace and 2-year-old Lena Elizabeth. She suffered a miscarriage in 2016 before welcoming Lena two years later.

Zara Tindall’s third baby comes less than two months after cousin Princess Eugenie –daughter of Prince Andrew and Duchess Sarah – and her husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed their first child, a boy named August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan also announced last month they are expecting their second child, a girl, joining their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who turns 2 in May. This child will be a member of the British royal family but is likely to be American-born, now that Harry, 36, and the former Meghan Markle, 39, are living in Santa Barbara County, California, close to where Meghan was born and raised.
