Serbian star Djokovic became the longest-serving world number one earlier this month, dethroning Swiss star Roger Federer.

Natalija Scekic has revealed details of the blackmail plot against Novak Djokovic

After staying 311 weeks as the leader of the ATP men’s ranking, 18-time Grand Slam winner Djokovic decided to throw a party to celebrate.

Serbian stunner Natalija Scekic was even offered the holiday of a lifetime if she agreed to lure the world No1 into a hidden-camera fling as part of the extortion scam.

The bash is where the alleged extortion plot was supposed to take place.

Natalija said she was offered the sum of money by someone she knew in London who she considered a “serious guy”.

She told the magazine Svet and Scandal a man was hired in the UK to take care of the scam.

But she was “offended” by the offer, saying it was “not fair” to the tennis ace who she described as Serbia’s “best ambassador”.

he says she was told she could get about EUR 60,000 (£52,000) for “doing that as well as a trip wherever I wanted”.

The model said: “I laughed, expecting him to say it was all a joke, but the man was serious. I felt offended and humiliated.”

She said she turned him down flat and wanted to throw a drink in his face.

Natalija continued: “At that moment I thought about hitting him, throwing water over him, but I stopped myself because we were in a public place.

“I am familiar with their work and they were good. When he asked me for a date, I thought it was for a business matter.

“However, as the conversation progressed, I saw that it had nothing to do with my life.

“I thought it was a hidden camera when he told me that I had to seduce Novak and film it, but not to worry about that because he was already taking care of that.

“They were really preparing a hell of a plan. I was told to take Novak somewhere to an intimate place and film it all.”

Djokovic, 33, has been married to wife Jelena for seven years and the couple have two children – Stefan, six, and Tara, three.

The 18-time Grand Slam winner has frequently been forced to deny claims that he has cheated on her.

And Natalija, who has 13,000 Instagram followers, has revealed that she wanted no part in setting up her fellow Serb in a love-cheat plot.

Explaining how she reacted to the offer, she added: “At that moment I thought of hitting him, throwing water on him, but I restrained myself because we were in a public place.

“I gathered my things and left. I hope he didn’t find a girl who wants to do that, because it’s not fair to Novak.

“He is our best ambassador, an exemplary man, a family man. For someone to seduce him like that for money, or at least try to…”

Djokovic’s form dropped significantly in 2017 when he failed to go beyond the quarter-finals of the Grand Slams.

That poor run continued in the first half of 2018, before he recovered to win Wimbledon and the US Open.

However, Jelena was absent for his Wimbledon triumph and that sparked rumours that the couple were struggling.

When asked about what caused the drop off in his performance, Djokovic said: “It was nothing physical. It was some other things that I was going through privately.”

Novak and Jelena have been married since 2014

When quizzed on allegations of infidelity in 2020, Djokovic once again categorically shut them down.

He said: “I understand that it is more interesting for people to read Nole and Jelena are getting divorced than Nole and Jelena are in love.

“But that doesn’t affect Jelena and me because we love each other.”
