High Voltage NFTs
The NFTs feature renderings of legendary Formula E cars that will be auctioned on Featured by Binance.
The auction will take place from the 26th of August 05:00 PM (UTC+1) to the 2nd of September 0200 PM (UTC+1) according to the official press release. It will feature ‘First Edition’ cars imbued with chassis number ‘1’, highlighting their value and rarity.
Comprising 24 incredible cars that come from 12 teams within Formula E, the auction is likely to excite bidders and attract a new clientele of NFT collectors.
“Formula E: High Voltage brings the intensity and sheer technological innovation of all-electric car racing to blockchain, where game assets will be truly ownable by players and will have utility both inside and outside of the game.” Yat Siu, co-founder and chairman of Animoca Brands, stated in an exclusive Press Release.
The cars on offer belong to the following Formula E teams:
Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler, BMW i Andretti Motorsport, DRAGON / PENSKE AUTOSPORT, DS TECHEETAH, Envision Virgin Racing, Jaguar Racing, Mahindra Racing, Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team, NIO 333 Formula E Team, Nissan e.dams, ROKiT Venturi Racing, and TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team.
Race Your NFTs
The enticing thing about these particular NFTs is that although they retain a certain sleekness and shine due to the legendary supercars they represent, they can actually be used.
Gaming fans will be able to race the cars they purchase in Formula E: High Voltage the game that is due to be released later this year.

Featured by Binance Making Strides
Featured by Binance describes itself as a non-custodial, on-chain NFT platform incubated by Binance X, the innovation arm of Binance. The platform runs on Binance Smart Chain and facilitates the full life cycle of NFTs for creators, brands, and their fans, including minting, marketing, distribution, and secondary trading.
We have recently covered the exciting new NFTs auctioned on Featured, from legendary painter Thomas Kinkade. That move signalled an effort from Featured to bring about a new kind of NFT, traditional art, in that particular case. The idea was to cleanse an NFT market that appears to be momentarily over-saturated.
The latest NFT auction made up of Formula E cars also represents a move to bring NFTs that can both be used in game and also offer stand alone value.
