Eurobrand Continues to Thrive in Georgia with Plans for Expansion

Eurobrand, Georgia’s first large-format outlet store, has been undergoing significant growth in the country since its opening in 2013. In this interview with Irakli Kipshidze, the Managing Partner of Eurobrand, we will be discussing some key aspects of the brand’s success in the market and provide a glimpse into the future of this leading store chain.

Q. In the category favorite network of outlet stores, Eurobrand has won the Golden Brand award this year again. How has the brand maintained this title and recognition?

A. We are thrilled to have won the Golden Brand title again. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the organizers, experts, and customers who participated in the survey and identified our company as the winner this year. This achievement is a powerful source of inspiration and motivation for us to continue striving for excellence.

The ongoing pursuit of developing our company, combined with the dedicated work of each employee, taking into consideration the interests of our valued customers, a well-planned marketing strategy and the provision of top-notch services, has led to another year of success for Eurobrand, as it has in previous years.

Q. You said it was “another year of success” for the company. Could you please summarize 2023 and list the most important achievements of that year?

A. We accomplished our goals, which corresponded to high demand from our customers, and expanded our network by opening two new branches. One is located on Mirian Mepe Street in Didi Digomi in the capital city of Tbilisi, while the other is in Gori Mall, in the eastern city of Gori. This expansion required an investment of 1,200,000 GEL and created employment opportunities for 30 new people.

The number of loyal customers for Eurobrand has been increasing every year, as shown in the recent statistics. In 2023, we experienced a remarkable 30% rise in sales. We are very optimistic about the year 2024 and anticipate a growth rate of 25%-30%.

Q. Due to the expansion, what is the total number of branches that Eurobrand currently has?

A. Eurobrand has been present in Georgia since 2013. Our first branch was a large-format outlet store located in Tbilisi, which was opened in May 2013 in the Sports Palace building. The store offered a wide range of well-known European brands at a discounted price of up to 70%.

Back in 2013, the Georgian market lacked brands or outlets where customers could purchase clothes at an affordable rate. Eurobrand had the vision to make it possible for customers to buy discounted outlet collections of world-famous brands. The ultimate goal was to offer customers a shopping experience that was similar to any European city. Today we are proud to say that we have achieved this goal successfully. Customers now have the opportunity to save money on big brands and update their wardrobe without spending too much.

Eurobrand has been a popular shopping destination for Georgian consumers since its opening. Responding to its success, the management of the company has set a goal to expand the Eurobrand network beyond the big cities of Georgia. At present, Eurobrand has 11 branches located in Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Telavi, Rustavi and Gori, with a workforce of over 200 employees.

Our business is experiencing significant growth, and demand is high. Each of our branches has achieved great success, which has led us to develop plans to expand our network further in the near future. Our ambition is to open several new branches in both Tbilisi and the regions.

Oliver, Topshop, Topmen, Only, Selected, Reserved, Vila, Pull&bear, Topman, Celio, Orsay, Cool Club, NA-KD, Cropp, House, Bershka, Miss Selfridge, Parfois, Only&Sons, CKS, Mohito, Cortefiel, Springfield, Guess, and Pepe Jeans. You can also find outlet collections of the world’s leading sports brands with discounts of up to 70%.
