There’s a lot of hype around Denmark. If Denmark can’t be the best in the world, it’s definitely the best in Europe. You may have even heard that it’s one of the happiest countries in the world. (Affordable housing, health care and transit will do that for you.)
While jobs are plentiful, crimes barely exist and Danes just don’t seem to be too concerned about the future. But it’s not perfect — Denmark affords all these with one of the highest income tax rates in the world. Still, Denmark’s high quality of life boosts it to No. 13 on the top 50 countries list.
