ARISTO Sliding Aluminum Systems: Where Design Meets Functionality

Refined design, premium materials and a strong focus on functionality have positioned Memo Group at the forefront of Georgia’s interior solutions market. With 15 years of experience, the company has built a reputation for delivering tailored, high-quality products that respond to the evolving needs of modern living spaces — combining aesthetics with practical innovation.

In 2018, Memo Group introduced the production of ARISTO aluminum sliding systems in Georgia, bringing a new standard of integrated, design-driven solutions to the market. Since then, the brand has steadily expanded its presence, earning customer trust and industry recognition. This success was further reinforced as ARISTO was named a winner in the “Aluminum Systems” category at the Golden Brand awards.

In this interview, Giorgi Chitadze, Director of Memo Group, discusses the company’s growth, its partnership with ARISTO and how innovation and customer-focused design continue to shape its market leadership.

Q. What does this recognition mean for your company?

A. Receiving this award is very important for both our company and our team. It serves as additional motivation to continue developing both the company and our products. Awards like this are also valuable for encouraging business growth. We have received several local awards for ARISTO, and adding this one further strengthens our drive to achieve our future goals.

Q. In your opinion, what factors contributed to ARISTO’s success in this category?

A. First and foremost, our leadership position in the market has played a key role. Since 2018, we have maintained this position consistently. Years of experience, continuous hard work, a large base of satisfied customers and high-quality products together define our success.

Q. What allows you to confidently describe your company as a market leader?

A. While there are no official studies, based on our internal research, sales performance, product quality and customer satisfaction index, we can confidently say we are market leaders in aluminum systems manufacturing. Our position is maintained through high European-quality standards and a professional approach to our work.

Q. How do you adapt ARISTO products to the Georgian market?

A. When we were looking for a partner in aluminum systems manufacturing, our main goal was to find a premium brand offering fully integrated solutions. That’s how we selected ARISTO – a European brand founded in 2003, now with nearly 200 showrooms worldwide.

We also had to meet strict requirements from ARISTO before starting production in Georgia. After fulfilling all conditions, Memo Group became the exclusive representative of ARISTO in the country. Since then, we have worked closely with the brand and they actively consider the specific needs of our market – sometimes even adjusting projects based on feedback from Georgian customers.

Q. Which products are currently most in demand?

A. Our primary customers are apartment owners. Sliding aluminum systems are widely used to divide living and kitchen areas or to create wardrobe spaces in bedrooms. With the growing popularity of studio apartments in Georgia, these systems have become especially relevant – they allow space division without losing natural light or the sense of openness.

Today, the highest demand is for interior partitions, particularly between kitchens and living areas, as well as wardrobe solutions, which we have recently added and are actively developing.

Q. How do you approach customization and design?

A. Every project we work on is fully customized. We offer a wide range of design options, and thanks to our experience, we can meet virtually any client requirement. Some customers come with specific ideas, while in other cases, we provide design recommendations. We also collaborate with many designers and design studios.

Our advantage is that we deliver orders in the shortest possible time, as we always keep materials in stock and can start production immediately.

Q. What are your latest developments?

A. We have introduced door models that are completely new to the market – profiles that are not offered by other companies. Another important direction is wardrobe systems, which we recently added and plan to develop further this year.

Additionally, we have opened a new manufacturing facility in Natakhtari with an investment of GEL 2.5 million. The factory is equipped with Italian machinery, allowing us to deliver even more precise and high-quality products. This facility covers both aluminum systems and premium furniture production.

Q. What impact has ARISTO had on the local market?

A. Before ARISTO entered the Georgian market, there were no fully integrated systems available. Solutions were typically made from either iron or aluminum, but lacked an integrated, fully developed approach. Introducing ARISTO significantly raised the standard in the market. Other players have also had to adapt and improve their products, which we see as a positive development for the industry overall.

Q. How important is your team to the company’s success?

A. The role of our team is invaluable. From the beginning, ARISTO specialists trained our craftsmen and we continue to provide ongoing training. Beyond that, our focus has been on building a system that ensures consistent quality and this system is created and maintained by dedicated professionals.

A significant portion of our investment, around 60%, has gone into technological development. From engineers to craftsmen, every member of our team is highly motivated. Building this team was not easy, but today we can confidently say we have one of the strongest teams in the industry.

Q. What advice would you give to customers choosing aluminum systems today?

A. Customers should focus on quality, design, visual appeal and execution. These are the key factors that define a successful product, and we are confident that we meet all of these criteria, which is why we maintain our leading position in the market.
