Victoria Security: “We Are Not Just Physical Force, But Technology-Driven Company Building Complete Security Architecture”

Over the past year, Victoria Security has strengthened its position as one of Georgia’s most trusted security providers, combining operational scale with rapid technological advancement. The company continues to expand its portfolio, enhance service quality and reinforce its reputation for reliability across the entire country. This sustained growth and market confidence have once again been recognized at an industry level, with the company earning the title of No1 Golden Brand in Security Service for the third time.

We spoke with the company’s Director, Giorgi Gugeshashvili, about Victoria Security’s continued growth, technological transformation, and the strategies driving its leadership in Georgia’s security sector.

Q. Victoria Security has won the Golden Brand award for the third time. What does maintaining this status mean to you and how do you continue to strengthen your leadership in the security sector?

A. Winning this title for the third time is both a great responsibility and a strong recognition of our team’s professionalism and dedication. For Victoria Security, quality is not a one-time effort, it is a continuous process and a way of working. There is a saying in business: “Reaching the top is easier than staying there.” Our third win is a clear symbol of stability and the unwavering trust of our clients.

Strengthening leadership in the security sector requires flexibility and rapid adaptation to a changing environment. That is why we continuously monitor market trends, implement innovations and strive to stay one step ahead. Our main goal is never to settle for what we have achieved, but to prove every day that the trust our clients place in us is fully justified.

Q. How has the company grown over the past year in terms of scale – has there been an increase in secured facilities, team size, or geographic coverage?

A. Over the past year, the company has experienced significant growth. The number of secured facilities has increased, which directly reflects growing customer trust and demand for our services. We have also strengthened our operational capabilities in the regions.

It is worth noting that we already cover the entire territory of Georgia, so our geographic reach remains fully comprehensive. However, we are continuously improving service quality and response speed. In short, the past year has been not only about quantitative growth, but also about qualitative transformation.

Q. The security industry is rapidly digitizing. What new technologies have you implemented recently and how have they improved efficiency?

A. Digital transformation is not just a trend for us, it is a strategic necessity. Recently, we have implemented integrated video monitoring systems equipped with artificial intelligence features, including motion analysis, facial recognition and suspicious behavior detection.

We have also strengthened remote management and control platforms, enabling real-time monitoring and faster response. Additionally, digital applications and internal management systems have improved both team communication and operational processes.

GPS monitoring and mobile technologies have significantly enhanced the efficiency and responsiveness of our mobile units. As a result, our services have become faster and more cost-effective. Today, we are not just a “physical force” – we are a technology-driven company building a complete security architecture. Looking ahead, we plan deeper integration with cybersecurity, as physical and digital security are now inseparable.

Q. How relevant is the concept of “smart security” in Georgia today and how are you responding to this trend?

A. In Georgia, “smart security” has already moved beyond being a luxury. It has become a necessity for business sustainability. Demand for integrated solutions that offer real-time monitoring, mobile control and cloud-based data storage has significantly increased.

AI-powered features such as facial recognition, behavior analysis and automated alerts are also becoming more widespread. We respond to this trend by developing fully integrated smart security systems that combine video surveillance, access control and remote management into a single platform. Our focus is to ensure that clients can manage their entire security infrastructure from one interface.

Q. Have client expectations changed in recent years? What does the modern customer demand today?

A. Client behavior has changed significantly, driven by technological progress and increasing risks. Today’s customers are no longer satisfied with basic physical security; they demand comprehensive, proactive and technology-driven solutions.

There is a clear shift toward integrated “smart” systems, real-time monitoring and immediate response. Clients are more informed and expect a complete security ecosystem that ensures both physical and digital protection, as well as convenience and efficiency.

For us, this means continuous development and positioning ourselves not just as a service provider, but as a strategic partner.

Q. Which services are growing the fastest in your portfolio and what trends do you see for the near future?

A. The fastest-growing services in our portfolio are directly linked to technological transformation. These include AI-based video analytics, biometric access systems, smart integrated security solutions and combined cyber-physical security services.

Looking ahead, the industry is moving toward proactive and predictive models – systems that not only respond to threats but anticipate them. Automation and AI will play an even greater role, while physical security and technology will become fully integrated.

Q. Have new industries or segments emerged with increased demand for security services?

A. Yes, the range of industries requiring advanced security has expanded significantly. Logistics and warehousing have become one of the fastest-growing sectors, driven by e-commerce.

Demand has also increased in development and construction, healthcare institutions, educational facilities and industrial and energy sectors. These segments require not just standard protection, but complex, technology-driven, and customized solutions.

Q. Has the geographic distribution of demand changed across Georgia? Which regions are becoming strategically important?

A. While we already operate across the entire country, demand in the regions has become more stable and structured.

Western Georgia, particularly Batumi and Poti, is strategically important due to growth in tourism, construction and logistics. Eastern Kakheti is emerging as a dynamic agro-industrial region, while western Imereti, including its central city of Kutaisi, is seeing increased demand driven by infrastructure development.

Overall, regional markets are becoming more sophisticated and require high-standard security services.

Q. With over 2,000 employees, how do you ensure continuous training and quality control?

A. Managing and developing a team of over 2,000 employees is both a challenge and a key competitive advantage. Training is systematic and multi-stage, starting with intensive onboarding and continuing through regular refresher courses and practical exercises.

Quality control is ensured through a multi-level system that includes internal monitoring, regular inspections, KPI-based performance evaluation and advanced technological tools such as digital reporting and GPS tracking.

For us, every employee is part of a structured system where everyone understands their role. Our core standard is simple: be prepared even when nothing is happening.

Q. Do you plan to integrate cybersecurity with physical security services?

A. Yes, this integration is already underway. In today’s world, security is no longer limited to physical perimeters—digital space is equally critical. Our transformation strategy includes combining these two directions into unified solutions.

Q. How realistic is your plan to expand beyond Georgia and which markets are you considering?

A. Our expansion plan is realistic and based on both our experience and regional market trends. We are considering neighboring regions and Eastern European markets where demand for smart, integrated security solutions is growing.

Our expertise in delivering complex, technology-driven services positions us well for international expansion.

Q. What should the market expect from Victoria Security in 2026–2027?

A. In the coming years, the market can expect an even larger-scale transformation from Victoria Security – technologically, geographically and structurally. We will continue to evolve into a technology-driven partner, offering smarter, faster and more integrated security solutions tailored to the demands of a rapidly changing world.
