Ian Joseph Somerhalder is an American fashion model, actor and producer, notable for playing Boone Carlyle in the TV drama Lost and Damon Salvatore in the TV drama The Vampire Diaries. In May 2006, Somerhalder was named one of DNA Models’ Top 10 Male Models. He won Entertainment Weekly’s “Sexy Beast” tournament in 2010 for this role, beating Edward Cullen in a closely-fought final.
