President Volodymyr Zelensky met with his Polish and Lithuanian counterparts Andrzej Duda and Gitanas Nausėda in New York.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to LRT.

“For the sake of the common, most important goal – protecting Europe from Russia’s aggressive expansionist policy – the differences between Ukraine and Poland must be resolved as soon as possible,” the Lithuanian leader said.

According to Nauseda, Poland’s place in supporting Ukraine is exceptional, and a solution must be found, as further deepening of the crisis would be irresponsible.

“In this case, we are not talking about the security of individual countries, but of the entire region and even the continent. As history shows, only by working together, supporting and helping each other, can we counter the danger of external threats. Meanwhile, social divisions, regardless of the reasons, not only undermine unity, but also help the enemy’s propaganda,” he said.

Nausėda also spoke to the presidents of Ukraine and Poland about easing the procedures for transporting grain through Poland and increasing transit through Lithuania to reduce pressure.
